We try our very best to inspect and sell the highest quality products at great discounts. Our business is to purchase overstocks and store returns from major retailers. We give these items a second chance and pass on great discounts to our customers. However, sometimes mistakes happen. Occasionally our items get damaged during shipping. And, occasionally we make a mistake in testing, inspecting, and/or describing a product.

If you have ANY PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS about your item, we would love to have the opportunity to make it right. Below are instructions on how to get help and/or open a return with Rio Grande Trade. 

Our customer service team is available 8am-4pm Monday-Friday (MST / UTC -7) as well as after hours and over the weekend for emergencies. We do our best to get back to you within 3-4 business hours, however, please allow up to one business day for a response.

Customer Service for eBay Purchases

If your purchase was made via eBay.com we ask that you reach out to our customer support team through eBay in order to ensure a quick and accurate response. To contact us via email:
  • Log into your eBay account
  • Click the "My eBay" drop down menu and then select "Purchase History" (here to visit the purchase history page)
  • Find the item in question on your purchase history page
  • Click "More Actions" and "Contact Seller" to send us a message

When you contact us via eBay using the steps above, we automatically have access to your purchase history and the details of the items you purchased.

Returns for eBay Purchases

If your purchase was made via eBay.com, please use the following steps to open a return for your item. 

  • Log into your eBay account
  • Click the "My eBay" drop down menu and then select "Purchase History" (here to visit the purchase history page)
  • Find the item in question on your purchase history page
  • Click the blue "Return this Item" button
  • Select the reason for the return & click "next"
  • Print your return label and ship the return

Most returns are credited within 24-48 hours once we receive the item back at our warehouse.

Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery and the item must be in the same condition as the item was listed/received. Seller provides a full refund and pays for return shipping on items that are returned for the following reasons: doesn't work or defective, doesn't match description or photos, wrong item sent, missing parts or pieces, arrived damaged, or doesn't seem authentic. For returns for reasons of buyer remorse (doesn't fit, changed my mind, found a better price, just didn't like it, or ordered by mistake), buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost of these items. Additionally, a restocking fee may be assessed for items that are not returned in the condition they were received.

Returns for RioGrandeTrade.com Purchases

If you would like to return an item purchased at RioGrandeTrade.com, click on the "My Account" tab at the top right of this website. Log into your account and open your return. Your refund will be issued to the same payment method you used within 1-2 business days after we receive the item.
